I'm no monitor expert, but this one blew me away! Incredible gain in working space as the resolution is much higher. It makes my old 1080 monitors look like junk. Ideal for photo and video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Once you hit a 2k monitor or more, you'll never want to go back.

Hmm, if you want to use this monitor on any Mac with resolutions higher than 1080p, you'll first need to find a windows box to plug it in and download the appropriate drivers. I really wish HP had done something great with this product, but it's like trying to use one of their printers as advertised. It will not work. Truly unbelievable.

This monitor on sale is a steal compared to some unnamed Korean import models. All the great image quality of IPS plus build quality of HP. Really good display at a competitive price. I use it with HP Elite Tower and HP Laptop Dock, so connecting the display port is very convenient.
