I have a small 1 gallon. Shop vacuum and it fits perfectly. It's a little tight, but that's the way it should be. I will buy more if needed.

I bought this to replace my original Shop Vac filter but once installed it was so porous that the material just seeped through the filter. I replaced the old used filter, the result was much better than the new one.

Perfect replacement for original shop vacuums as they are no longer made I understand they don't carry them in my home stock or shops so that was great for me I still have mine Shop vacuum and I still use it and I still like it.

This works as advertised. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had trouble fitting this foam cover onto my vacuum cleaner even though my model number was listed as correct. Other than that, it works great! I've used my shop vacuum for both dry and wet stuff and haven't had any issues.

I received replacement filters for my 5 gallon shop vac. Items (2) were well packaged and easy to install. The quality of the filters looks good and the stitching is reinforced for durability. I'm so glad I read the reviews before throwing my wet vacuum away; After I found out I needed a foam filter because the original foam filter no longer attached to my wet vacuum it squirted water when I used it. . Buy this product with confidence. I'm really satisfied!

I don't know if I just got a bad one but after seeing another similar review I have to assume this is the correct part.1 . Not suitable. The stitching came undone when I tried to pull it over the filter. Look at the picture to see how much gap is left when you try to pull the now separated ends together around the filter. Only reaches about 2/3 of the circumference.2. Due to the open pores of the foam, it would be pretty much useless anyway. You can just read the newspaper through them.

This foam filter is only designed to prevent objects from entering the engine, therefore an additional paper filter is NEEDED before use. This is normal and recommended, but the density of this foam is only a fraction of the density of the original filter material. The original Shop-Vac filter has a "fine" filter density and blocks almost everything by itself, but it has a "very normal" density and doesn't even block dust or sawdust. Without an additional paper filter, the dust simply flies…
