Description of Hubelino Switch Action Set Original

Plastic. The switch expansion is small but powerful. By turns the marbles are directed either left or right. The switch turns itself and makes it possible to aim at two terminals at the same time. This 43 piece set includes two switches as well as run elements, marbles, building blocks and base plates. The set allows you to build a small, standalone run, complete with switches (no other sets required). However, to experience the ultimate in marble-run mayhem, we recommend using the Switch Set as an expansion to one of our larger marble run sets—the Mini Set is a great place to start!. All Hubelino marble run products are 100% compatible with building blocks from other manufacturers and are made in Germany from ASTM plastics which pass all US and European safety standards for toys. Our robust marble runs are designed to stay put, so your kids can focus on the fun. They promote spatial intelligence and an understanding of fundamental physical concepts like accelaration and gravity. Ages 4+.

quality set. for marble runs

Here, too, Hubelino has brought out an additional set that makes running with the Hubelino marble more entertaining and interesting. A previous customer has stated that the switch does not always toggle. Which would be disappointing as shifting is the purpose of the device. However, I have found that if the components are carefully aligned during assembly, the switching function, while not 100% accurate, is still quite reliable. Also, it's nice to have a bit of randomness in the build.
