The plush side is very comfortable and tolerates regular washing well. However, the back is no longer soft, but has become matt and flat. (Wash weekly with sensitive/heavy soiling with baby detergent, without fabric softener) Not suitable as a thick winter duvet, as the waffle pattern makes it thin.
