All in all I think this keyboard stand meets the advertised specifications and serves its purpose. It turned out to be heavier than I expected, but I think all others of the same size weigh equally. I didn't like that it made a noise every time I picked it up, but others do too. I chose this particular model because it was cheaper and white. Had to return it as I thought I would have to set up my table differently.

Due to a serious back injury, I suddenly had to convert my small structure into a standing desk position. I didn't want to buy a new desk (none fits my tiny space anyway!) so I tried this as a workaround. I spend about 40 hours a week playing this thing and it won't budge. I was shocked at the price of this item when I first received it but it is GREAT quality and saved my life! I suffer from tendonitis, numbness in wrist/hand and back and neck tension. I needed a solution without buying the whole table. I stumbled across this keyboard stand and I'm thrilled. I received my stand yesterday and was very pleased with how easy it was to understand how it worked. I liked the fact that there were simple raising and lowering instructions. I already had a desk that I really liked, but it was too low and my leash was always looking down due to the position of my hands. I highly recommend it if you don't want to spend big but want to be able to move to a seated/standing position while you work.

Goes well with my monitor stand. They serve as an inexpensive standing desk in my home office when I get tired of sitting. The only problem with the keyboard stand is its lowering. It works well, just wish it had a manual release to lower it instead of raising it to full height before lowering.
