Humidifier Bottle Valve Cap - Compatible with Emerson Moistair, Kenmore - 1-Pack Review

The old black cap on one of our humidifiers became brittle and started falling apart. They looked the same but were a different color so I decided to give them a try. They worked great. Much better than replacing your humidifier!

These caps are for water bottles, they don't seal well. The washer is a little thin and the spring lacks tension. I have to carry my water bottles upside down and then put them upside down in a humidifier so the water doesn't flood the entire floor.

They have no gaskets or o-rings and they lick like crazy! No problem with the humidifier, but water simply leaks out when you fill the bottles and when they are transported to the humidifier after filling. I do not recommend.

Delivery was fast. The caps leaked when screwed on. I made sure they were tight and then loosened them to see if I could stop the water from leaking around them. I have also tried each lid on various humidifier water containers and they have done the same thing. I have a Kenmore humidifier. We put tape on the threads of each water tank and that fixed the problem.

For those who have Sear Kenmore (and similar brands) humidifiers in their home for the winter months, these replacement values are ideal. The Kenmore Home Humidifier (with two portable/refillable water tanks) makes refilling your humidifier much easier than it was in the days of buckets and water squirts around the house.
