All of the lower links seem grossly overpriced for what they are (a piece of pipe with a hole in it). But since they're not usually included in fans, you don't have much of a choice.

Nothing to say, it's the right maroon color, both strands are well stretched and it arrived just in time for my plan to install the fan. One caveat: Overtightening the fan hanger can prevent you from hanging the fan on the hub. I learned it the hard way and had to back off about a half turn.

My husband's uncle always told us that if we ever need to buy a fan, we shouldn't buy anything but a Hunter Genuine. We have never forgotten his words, even though he is long gone. We have already bought 7 of these and couldn't be happier. Uncle Ray always said the fan would outlive us and I think he's right. We've owned them for decades and have never had a problem with them. We will never buy anything else again!

Serves its purpose on a Hunter fan. I have a Prestige range and it screws into the base and attaches to the anchor with ease and also double ended with little effort As far as versatility for other brands is questionable I got a rod from a friend that was really good but none Threaded and flush with the base so I couldn't use it. Please also note that colors may vary slightly. The pictures look a little shinier than the product I thought was flat. But that's subjective.
