I ran in the rain today after using my boots about 12 times between shopping and short walks since the day of purchase and I can say I ran about 200 hours maybe and less because i love my HUNTING BOOTS and i was so careful, water got into my boots when i walked next to a puddle in the morning, i got so upset because i hardly used them on my boots (sad face)

These boots are exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a welly that was true to size and didn't feel 4 sizes too big. The ribbing is definitely suitable for narrow legs and I liked it because the boots are usually too wide. I usually wear a size 7.5/8. I chose size 7 and they fit perfectly with or without warm socks. Perfect for our winter trip to Vermont this week and rainy days at the baseball fields watching my boys play!

The Tour Packable is much lighter and easier to walk in than the original. I usually wear between a 7.5 and 8, but these are an 8. Everyone says to keep downsizing the Hunter boots, but I think Tours is a little more true to size. If I ordered 7 they would be too small (fingers on the edge) especially with warm socks. The lower leg area is more tailored than the original. Just a word of warning, they are sold at Nordstrom if you want to try them on before buying from Revain.

I normally wear size 6, which is what I ordered for these boots. The footrest is quite large. I scaled them down to size 5 which fits perfectly. Unfortunately, the rest of the boot fits very oddly in both a size 5 and a size 6. The ankles stuck out on both pairs and the top opening was very narrow.
