🔧 Huot 11550 Compact Drill Bit Index: 1/16" to 1/2" in 1/64" increments - A to Z & #1 to #60 Review

Don't waste your money, very much cheaply made and you can't read the size labels on the drills due to the way they are placed on the holders.

I've searched all the major industry sites for this item and couldn't find it. I almost always use stub/NC drills (aka SM for screw machines) in my tool/mold job - I really needed this index. Super happy with the price. I think the helicopter drones are already ready to go considering how quickly I got them - and it's definitely from Huot - the picture on the manufacturer's website looks exactly like what I bought.

I bought this register for work as I am a locksmith by trade. It has all the standard drills you need for machining. It is well made from thick sheet metal to last a long time. I have had this index for over 8 years now and it still holds up like new. A nice feature is the tapped hole chart on the front of the drill press with a number that will help when selecting drill bits. I don't see a problem with this index being more than 20 years old. I've had it for 8 years and I'm still going strong.

I originally ordered this for my dad as a gift. I liked it so much that I will order more. The index is spot welded from heavy gauge sheet metal (it weighs a few pounds empty) and finished with a beautiful corrugated finish. The markings are stamped for the larger sizes and the lower numbered bits are identified with a thick vinyl label. The lid has a hinge built in at one end and the free leaf is spot welded to the box. The lid closes with a friction fit and is secure enough to stay closed…
