Great deal and quality part

My wife's 2011 Impala made this clicking noise under the dash when she opened the door and also when the heater was turned on. So, after troubleshooting, I came to the conclusion that it was the air door actuators, left and right under the glove box. It's the same part so I bought two and now I'm not clicking anymore and I'm happy to report that I saved about $80. Thank you Rewin!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • So far so good

works perfectly. worked on the heater door levers

on my 2008 Chevy Impala. In fact, you'll have to get another one because the second actuator will also start to work. To be honest I temporarily disabled the second one to avoid clicks. The new actuator fixed the first one and still works great. not the easiest way to remove the old one and put the new one, since it is located (the second is actually located worse, closer to the passenger door, behind the glove box).

Not easy to install

My son-in-law made this for me, it's very convenient. At first he said it would be easy given the way he was looking at the video; but when he worked on it, he ran into some problems. He hadn't removed the dashboard, and the spot where he could be hit was awkward. Sometimes it was just enough for his fingertips. But he did a great job! It's so cool that the driver's side air conditioner ejects cold air instead of hot air. Just in time for summer. And above all, no knocking.

Exactly the same or maybe better than OEM.

Works like the OEM, just a little cheaper. Why pay more when it stays the same? I purchased and installed this actuator (passenger side) in November 2017 and over a year later it is still working. In fact, I just ordered another one for a driver's side replacement. blows cold air even when the heater is on. No woodpecker noise like on the other side. So far I'm happy with the product and will update the review to see how long they last. Oh, by the way, what a sick joke choosing one spot for…

Perfect fit 🥰 for A/C

I had a clicking noise in the dashboard area and had problems with the driver's side heater and passenger side A/C. I found the actuator behind the dashboard. I replaced it myself by removing the glove from the box and making sure this is the correct drive and then proceeded to disconnect the battery, first negative, 1st then positive then I unscrewed the 2 screws, located on the part and the electrical connector. Then I put the new part in the electrical connector 1, then aligned the screws…

Arrived on time, well packaged and easy to install

My local dealer has quoted a repair price of $700.00 to $1300.00. NO! I received my adapter on time and went there to install the adapter in my car. Installation took about 15 minutes after figuring out how to remove the glove box from the dash. Once it was lowered I could clearly see the part and the screws holding it in place. I removed the part, replaced with a new part and put everything back together and it only took 15 minutes. Not only did I save myself $700, but it turned out I was a…

Perfect replacement

This was my second attempt to replace and install an HVAC door operator. The first (different brand) turned out to be defective and was sent back. It was perfect in form and function. I installed the 9v battery and wires and connected them to the drive wires to rotate the drive insert "female" to exactly match the position of the insert "male" and align with the screw mounting holes is. It is located under the dashboard and is accessible behind the glove box. Find and watch some helpful and…

Exactly the same as OEM fit and function.

I have a 2016 Chevy Impala Limited actually a 2006-2013 Impala made in America. The body style changed in America in 2014, but this limited edition was produced in Canada from 2014 to 2016. I say that because if you're looking for parts you either have to hope the website restrictions work or really just be safe and look for a 2013 Impala. . So in relation to this product, I had the familiar death sound clicking on the blend door. It's the same for all 3 in the car but I had the passenger door.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Plastic gears - engine cooling and air conditioning

GM OEM actuators were and still are made in China, cheap plastic gears guaranteed to break a tooth or two on one or both drive wheels Impala 2006 year with only 68,000 miles on it. I have swapped both the passenger heater actuator and the mixed door actuator twice. Installation is a challenge, especially with the mixed door operator. . Interestingly, there are niche suppliers that only sell gears. They are much stronger and made of nylon material. So take a look at the drive you are about to…
