Sturdy, high quality

I like the modern look of these rooms. They come with gaskets so they don't sit flush with the siding. I find them a bit difficult to read due to the shadow effect, but I think this can be minimized by not using spacers or hanging them diagonally. They have withstood the New York weather (sunshine, heavy rain and wind) and still look the same as the day we bought them. Overall happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not sure

Good visibility; time consuming installation (but worth it)

Was very difficult to install AMD I had an error with one of the numbers and decided to remove and fix it; does not happen. I leave them where they are. They replace the numbers you had to buy in the bargain section of the hardware store. You can see them (easily) across the street, which is why I bought them, but they also get a lot of compliments.

A little difficult to install, take your time.

Difficult to assemble on a sloping house facade. Follow the directions, glue, pre-drill (with a 7/32 bit like someone here recommended) and dry mount before inserting white anchors. liquid nails in our pre-drilled holes and inserted screws with gasket. Works well as holes are difficult to drill on sloping ground. It turned out perfect.

  • Absolutely amazing!

Beautiful digits for house numbers

This is a durable yet lightweight product. It's beautiful and has worked well for us. Cons: Not the easiest install. You have paper that you tape to your project with a number and marked drill locations. Sounds easy but once you start drilling the paper obviously tears and you can get a little off track and the number doesn't match up properly. We ended up leaving at least one screw on each number to match. I used them for my house numbers and wanted them to float. I couldn't figure it outโ€ฆ

Very pretty but best in house numbers, plaques and signs

They are difficult to install in plaster but doable. You will (obviously) need your own masonry drill bit. A puncher is highly recommended. The instructions say to drill 3/16" holes, which I think would pose a problem. I went with 1/4". Worked fine. The plastic dowels went in with no problem, but most of them did broke when applying the numbers. It doesn't bother me too much. I'd be very surprised if the numbers ever showed up. The metal spacers that "float" these numbers are silver. I tookโ€ฆ

Bargain Mid-Century Numerals

I looked at 2x and 3x the price before I found these lovely matte black numerals. After reading other reviewers' installation tips, we used a 1/4-inch drill bit and easily hammered the anchors securely into the concrete. We used a hammer drill to pierce our concrete block. The template for each number was perfect and the manufacturer includes hardware for three different uses: floating with stainless steel gaskets (which are pictured on my house), flush mount and screws to attach the numbers to

Looks great, read the reviews!

I read the reviews and followed the others and chose a larger drill bit for the dowel hole. me to keep them silver. Before that I glued the numbers in the column. After making sure the numbers (with the screws already in place) lined up with the dots on the guide number page, I used a hammer and nail to gently tap each guide number hole on the paper to make a mark in the column I landed on am drilling. I removed the paper to drill through without tearing the paper while drilling. Therefore they

Good looking floating/offset numbers

Excellent quality and templates included make it easy to find the number and drill holes. As other people have written in their reviews you will need to use a larger drill bit to get the clear plastic dowels into the holes. Do not force the transparent anchors or you will break them. When inserting the long studs into the numbers I did it by hand first, making sure the screw went in straight and using the pliers to fully tighten the studs in each number.
