🔢 Hy-Ko Products MM-5N Black & Gold Self Adhesive Vinyl Numbers - 3" High (26 Pieces) Review

When I first put these numbers on my new mailbox they looked lovely and were gilded on a black background, they were easy to read even from a distance . I was very happy until it got dark. The gold color is not reflective at all and YOU CANNOT SEE the numbers even when lit up. The mailbox only looks like this.... Black. It's been a few weeks now and I need to scrape them off and buy more numbers.

I really liked her. After nearly a year of begging my landlord to repaint invalid house numbers on our street, I finally gave in and got this one instead. I didn't count the numbers but there were several with a few extra units and I managed to find my address on either side of the mailbox as well as on the front door. The next day it rained cats and dogs and the number was ok. I haven't had them for a long time, but so far they are perfect!

At first we were very happy about these numbers. We had to buy them because we needed to put in a new mailbox after the snow plow removed our old one. The numbers we had on our old mailbox were in perfect condition and kept for the 4 years we had the mailbox. I chose them for our new mailbox because it's a lot more convenient to order from Revain than to go to the store and I thought the price was reasonable. They fell right out of my inbox and I was ready to come in here and complain like crazy but it really is my inbox's fault. It had a weird powder coating that made it matte and nothing stuck to it. We repainted the mailbox and now these are sticking. I'm a part-time driver when I'm at school and I always HATE it when there's no number on the box at home, so I've been thinking about making our numbers more thoughtful.
