Quality 5/5 Weight 4/5 Insulation 3/5 Water Flow 4/5

A little pricey for a basic water bag you drink but that's the quality. All in all a good buy, I'll have to see how long it lasts but I've heard you can return them fairly easily and they'll cover the fixes.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

  • Not sure

Withstands even the heat of the phoenix.

Bought for my wife. She works as a mail carrier in Phoenix. She freezes her water pouch the night before to keep it cold on her back. When it was "only 105," she got rid of frozen water. Excellent insulation. Now that he hit 117, he didn't stay frozen all day, but he was still impressive. High quality.

Keeps the water nice and cold

Absolutely works! The trick is to fill the bag with ice FIRST and water AFTER, because at the end of a long day of hiking, the water is still cold. Connected to the insulating tube https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07M6M49CZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which comes with a dust cover. Dust protection proved paramount as we traveled through the sandy national parks of the Southwest.

Keeps you cool and drinkable

I love this bottle. Began to ride long distances and needed more water. Can't stand warm or hot water and this bladder does a good job of keeping it cool. Ice water and ice in it is just what you need to start with. At the same time, the water in the tube heats up significantly in about 5 minutes. Switched to an insulated hose and the problem is solved. I would like an insulated hose to come with an insulated bladder, but that makes too much sense.

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

So far so good, great value for money

Better than expected. I think the extra insulation made a difference in warmth without much weight gain. For me a very successful exchange, I'm curious how it behaves in winter. I had a neoprene sleeve that worked really well on my old bladder, but added way too much bulk and weight, not to mention the extra step of filling it up in the infirmary. I have a real test taking place on 7/10/21 so I'll update if it doesn't work.

Cons

I'm glad I no longer have to stop to drink from a bottle

Definitely keeps drinks cooler longer. The tube is delivered without a drinking cap. Also, liquids entering the tubing heat up and can be drawn back into the bag. When you blow into the tube to remove liquid from the tube, you heat the air in the bag and heat the liquid. Can't tell how much is in the bag but otherwise a good buy. I'm glad I bought it. Have an insulated option that comes with a drinking cap. An insulated hose doesn't cool the fluid in the hose much better, so I wouldn't bother…

COLD water in the bladder!

I HATE hot or warm water. This bladder keeps my water cold, especially when I add ice or partially freeze some water in my bladder. We camp with a fridge so I keep my blisters cold before use. I have two of these 1.5 liter bladders. I prefer two smaller bubbles so I have a measure of how much water I have left. Once on a hot day I had heat stroke when I ran out of water with a 3 liter bladder and I had 5 miles to go. Carrying two tanks with me means I can choose to head back when one of them is

Pros
  • Decent performance

  • The list will be long.

Works great in a motorcycle tank bag

Just rode over 7300 miles on a motorcycle and used this water tank in a tank bag every day. I usually filled it with cold water at night and put the bag in the hotel fridge. The bag kept the water cold for hours and at least cool on a hot afternoon. After a few sips, I hold the hose up in the air and then close the bite valve to allow the water to drain from the hose into the bag. This left only about an inch of water to warm up on a hot day. So my next first sip was cool or warm, but never…

Great replacement for Nathan

My Nathan VaporAir came with an uninsulated chamber that just isn't made for day trips in the Texas heat or warm weather. I got Nathan's insulated tank, which was awful: an unpleasant chemical taste that didn't go away even after many washes and soaking in baking soda; a terrible design meant to minimize sloshing (a nonexistent issue if you fill the tank properly) but which makes the tank very difficult to slip into a hydration vest; and the liner is too stiff to turn the tank inside out to…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
