I'm 48 years old (128 pounds) and this is a great size for me. It has pockets and room for pretty much everything EXCEPT a water bottle. Instead, it's set to "bubbles" for water. Lightweight and appears to be well made. I live in Hawaii where the air is very salty so we'll see if the zippers rust over time. I look forward to using it tomorrow. This review is for a bag, not a backpack. I have an old hiking/ski bag that I use as a climbing bag. I needed a small, easy-to-access bag for groceries and a phone when hiking in the mountains. With the new backpacks, these pockets are integrated into the hip belt, which is a great feature. I don't have this in my backpack so I needed an extra bag.
