Does not come with 1/4 " fpt quick disconnects

Filters are ok but I could use 1/4" quick disconnects. Any ideas? Thought it would be like my old one with 1/4" fpt quick connectors.

The filter cartridges had no connection fittings at the ends that had to be purchased.

These polishing cartridges come with instructions for use for quick connectors that require tubing to be inserted from both ends to the stop. But it won't work. The ends have no proper connectors at all. They must be purchased separately, as do threaded nut-bolt connections. When I've bought polishing cartridges in the past, they've always come with shark bite or John Guest type tips and clips to hold the clips securely. Ordinary line filters for refrigerators even have ends. I'm disappointed…

Not a 1/4 " quick connect but NPT

From the pictures it was a straight 1/4" quick connect but the fine print mentions MNPT (You will need to purchase another item to have it to be used on both ends - MNPT 1/4" quick connector).

Excellent quality, works as expected

The unit looks like it comes with quick connectors but is as described. It comes with a 1/4" NPT thread, which is flimsy because it's cut from plastic and is easy to thread into a cross, so be careful. I used a double wrap of white Teflon tape. I have two Bought brass fittings which are coupled and removed the compression rings and nuts.You hand thread the fittings on and lock with a quarter turn wrench not to over tighten.I have none.NO leaks.before connecting to the fridge.The water is…
