Hydronix SGC-25-1005 Sediment Filter Grooved Cartridge 2.5x10 5 Micron - AP110 Compatible (6 Pack) Review

As a result of using this cartridge, I found that the quality of my water significantly improved. It effectively filters sediment and provides clean and clear drinking water. The grooves in the cartridge also increase the surface area for filtration, ensuring consistent performance for longer. The only con is that it is pricier than some other options on the market.

Easy to install but doesn't seem to last as long as it should. Water flow was minimal for 2 weeks. The ones previously bought lasted longer in duration.

A very high quality non-branded version of the AP110 Aqua-Pure AP110 Microfilter 5 costs just under half the current price of the OEM version. Geometry and material appear to be identical to the original version. I've been using them for about a year and they seem to hold the same amount and I haven't noticed an increase in line sludge. I carefully change the filter every six months so can't tell if there is a difference in durability, but at this price point there's no reason to try to stretch
