I bought two of these in May, it's now mid September and one bulb has burned out. It's only been running 12 hours a day for 2 months now, the second one is still working, fingers crossed it lasts longer. I don't think I would buy more of these.

Used to replace the bulb in photo studio lighting. Much less expensive than regular studio lights but I suspect it's the same. ;-) I don't think I'll ever buy one of those expensive bulbs again.

I bought 4 of these bulbs and the plants really like them. The downside is that I can't keep it running at 18 hours a day for more than a month. It's a good product and not very expensive but I can't afford to change them every 4 weeks. I'll look around for another bulb that lasts much longer. This is an update to my last review. I love the daylight bulb and the light it gives off and the plants love it too but the greenhouse and it only lasted 4 days before it stopped working. I need to find…

It's a big bulb, that's for sure. I found out the hard way that these light waves emitted by this bulb are too intense for a baby plant, so all I had to do was use an LED on this plant until it was old enough to have this larger, more intense light use. But I installed it in my shop and it puts out more light than 2 of those floury bulbs and it's pure white, perfect for taking pictures or just looking for things in general.
