What a great product and price! So far the suction cup is holding up and looks like it's continuing to do its job. The temperature is accurate since I placed the heater in the aquarium. I recommend this product.

Can't rate the other features of the heater as the suction cups suck. It doesn't stick to the glass. As far as I can tell upon closer inspection, there is no way to swap them out and fix the problem.

Started with a 200w heater in our 46 gallon cichlid tank and it just couldn't keep up. This 300w heater is perfect! Maintains the water temperature between 1-2 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, although we lower the temperature of the house by about 10 degrees when we leave. The temperature setting is adjustable in 2-degree increments, which is normal for our setup.

Everything is great here, except for the suction cups that suck and don't suck at the same time, if you know what I mean. Temperature control is accurate according to my superfood laser thermometer. Bzzrrr! But the damn thing won't stick to the side of my tank. You have to repeat it several times a week. Otherwise it would be a 5 star rating.

By far my favorite brand of aquarium heater. Temperature control is top notch and these things last forever! Not to mention the included suction cups. Most fail after a few months and then your heater won't perform as it should. These villains are super duper suckers. Even after being removed and reinserted several times, they keep their place. Like it a lot!

I love Hygger products and have two of their large 500w heaters with digital thermometer and they are great. So I ordered this for my 20 lb baby cichlid tank, it worked fine for about 2 months and this morning the water temp was 69 and the heater wouldn't turn on. Tried different outlets but no, the heater doesn't work. So I had to throw it away, luckily I had an old backup and convicts are cool, alright.

Very happy with this heater. Compact design, and best of all, it only turns on after the water temperature has dropped 1 degree Celsius (2 Fahrenheit). what professional fish farmers recommend so that the heaters last for several years. Otherwise, if they turn on every 20 minutes, the heaters usually slow down for a year or two. The only small negative are the suction cups, which aren't the strongest but haven't fallen off yet.
