Hygloss Products Cork Sheets Adhesive Review

I used this connector to imitate bricks for dollhouse fireplaces. I painted the entire sheet with a speckled red, brown, some black and a few strokes of gold. The cork texture actually looks like a brick once painted! Anyway, I then drew lines on the back and cut them into flat bricks with a utility knife. I painted the fireplace light gray to mimic the mortar and then glued the "bricks". Where the sticky side didn't hold well I used Alene's glue. Worked beautifully.

I bought this self-adhesive cork to attach to the back of some perforated ceramic coasters. Condensation from cold drinks sometimes dripped through decorative holes, rendering coasters almost useless. The cork sheets have a mesh pattern on the back which allows me to cut squares to size and glue them to the back of my coasters in minutes. Voila - done!

I bought this for the only set of coasters Mother uses. She wore them for many years but they never had a cork inside so they weren't as functional as real coasters. The puddle just sits in the cup holder. Not perfect, is it? That solved the problem very easily. There were no problems, I recommend. I waited at least half a year before posting a review just in case the glue didn't handle the moisture issue. It didn't affect it in any way.
