They fly really great. Easy to pierce

Very good price. Discs fly far and straight, better than Jaws discs. Hang times are much better than Jaws due to the light weight and my pup catches them in the air more than ever. Just don't expect them to last as long as Jaws discs. If you're looking for airtime, this is it. If your dog has a hard mouth, stick with the Jaws version.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons

Consistent Throws: Disc Sports

Heavy weight for consecutive shots on target for a good rep. Does not cut gums with a flat soft lip but will harden with UV exposure and will need to be replaced as it will eventually cut gums and tarnish color with exposure to sunlight. Collect them after each use and keep them in your bag for longer storage. I usually replace 6 of my Aussies each year and they are not allowed to chew on it.

Ideal for dog discs

As previously mentioned, these discs are not intended as chew toys and will therefore leave teeth marks. This is normal for this type of disc. My 6 month old pup has been able to use these discs for training and a competition and they are still in good condition. I always keep her out of her reach unless we're getting ready. I think this pack is a great deal for the number of drives. Have fun with your dog!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons

Great frisbee, great price. We use them in competition

I ordered these frisbees when I first started playing Frisbee League with my Australian Shepherd. I have shared them with other members and they are a great frisbee. We've been using them for about 6 months now and they work great. Since it's a backpack, I have the ones we use for competition and the ones we leave at home and use for training. Our training rooms are a bit more worn than the competition rooms.

My dog โ€‹โ€‹is bleeding from his mouth

These are the BEST discs for freestyle competitions. They fly great and my dog catches them well. That being said I will not use them for regular training as they are hard enough to make my dog bleed from his mouth. When she's older she might not apply it to her gums as often, but not now. I use silicone discs and have not had this problem. So 5 stars for the competition. 1 star for education. I shared the difference for this review.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

Great toy but wears out quickly

I have tried many of these special frisbees. Some others are too hard and hurt my dog's mouth. Their downside, since they "bite" my healer much more comfortably, is that they wear out quickly. That's not to say they're NOT APPLICABLE after a few weeks because even if they have bite marks and cracks they're still usable (I have 3 in my yard that are bitten to death right now and I think I'm it been with a few months). I just want to point out that it's a good thing they come in packs of sixโ€ฆ

I've dropped them at least 1000 times this week.

. I'll release them as soon as they get caught. Well, I'll let them take him for a little walk if they catch a spectacular catch. If it weren't for that, they probably wouldn't have the damage they have now. They are lightweight and will float in the air no matter how you throw them. But if I leave the dogs with him, they'll be torn to shreds within minutes. But it's a compromise if you want them to float in the air. With these heavy rubber rods of a different kind, the resilient kind, yourโ€ฆ

Quality frisbees are good for leisure, sports and playroom

These frisbees are of good quality. They are big and heavy. They are the same as pictured in terms of colors that I received. The only thing to note is the fact that they are not stab or buy proof. I have several Hyperflite discs that are puncture and buy proof and they are great. However, when I received the box, I left the room briefly to find that my Golden Retriever had fed one and was already chewing on pieces. If you use them the way you should, they're great. ****Update - 8/12/11 Ratherโ€ฆ
