Sparkling wine is the biggest drinker in my family so OBVIOUSLY I can't drink the whole bottle in one night. This topper keeps wine fresh for a second night! In fact, it keeps it bubbly for days. It will start to rust after a few months but everyone I've shared it with loved it.

At least I got 5 good ones out of 6. One was broken upon arrival. I've bought them before with no problems so maybe it was just a coincidence. They're not the best quality, but they're suitable for my busy restaurant where we pour a lot of champagne every day. I would not recommend it for home use unless you intend to drink wine within 2 days.

Only fit certain bottles. To give some background, I own a wine bar and have many different types of champagne. They only worked well on two of the eight types we have. And even then, they're not my favorites. What a waste. My advice. Buy ones that have a small latch that pops open to secure the seal. They work on everything. These suck!

Very disappointed and upset. We will come back for a refund. The description says 6 pieces. Like others, I only got 5. I could dismiss that and leave 3 stars. But one of those 5 was in pieces. I was really looking forward to using them as part of the hostess gifts I give for Christmas. Don't be fooled here. You definitely get what you pay for.

First of all, if you want a sealed stopper that you can set aside, this is not for you. They leak when lying on their side. They are not intended to be connected to the bottle itself, they just rely on some spring force at the very top when you push down and fold the two "wings" down and grab the edge of the rim from above. When it's upright, it seals in pretty well and will keep your champions fresh for a couple of days. It's just not the perfect design.
