I'd rather invest in my car than not sell it.

When it comes to an easy fix, why go to the dealer and overpay. I'd rather spend my money and find out the truth for myself. money well spent

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Anything I can add

The best scanner for the price.

Works well, hope for more features on specific services in the future. I hate going to the dealer to change the engine air filter. Please add filter calibration after filter change.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Has flaws

It worked very well.

The device worked as described. I have a 2009 Mercedes S63 that had this sticky surface on the steering wheel so I replaced it and my SRS service light stayed on afterwards. This device fixed the problem and reset them with no issues. I recommend this device for all diagnostic problems.

Pros
  • Large assortment
Cons
  • Small parts

Same information playing field.

This product is much better than advertised. Levels of information in incredible! Did you know that your seats have 6 sensors connected to the ECU? Or does the rearview mirror have 3 sensors? There were subsystems I didn't even know existed. A must for MB DIY enthusiasts. Reading your OBD costs less than going to a dealer. Now you have the same options as in the workshop.

Pros
  • Something above
Cons
  • Bad experience

Faulty ABS wheel speed sensor found on 2013 Sprinter

I had ABS, ESP and another light on my 2013 Sprinter 2500 and there was no cruise control. According to Internet Wisdom, it's probably the wheel speed sensor. I called the dealer and they wanted $190 for the diagnosis. I used a cheap bluetooth OBDII dongle but of course it doesn't do ABS codes. So I ordered that. Upon receipt, I updated the software (Warning: Windows only) and connected to the van. My right front wheel speed sensor read over 40,000 mph while the other three read 0. I think I…

Must have for Mercedes owners.

I bought it to work with a 2008 Rclass 320 CDI. The car was great but like all cars it has some maintenance issues. I'm a garden mechanic. I know how to do minor repairs, but I haven't disassembled the engine and I don't know all the terminology. However, I was able to hook this up and read the codes in less than 5 minutes. The codes are very clear and tell you exactly what to check or replace. At $150 it's a good investment. These Mercedes can be expensive to run and I just saved twice as much

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Great tool for tools and equipment

I recently bought a used ml63 and knew I needed something to diagnose. I've already had some weird issues in my first month of ownership, like a broken alarm siren waking me up at 3am and not being able to turn it off. My OBD Bluetooth scanner I had didn't even read the ECU in the car. I have just received this device and I can already say that it will be very useful. It doesn't have the biggest screen, or maybe it's not the most updated, but for the price it gives you tons of information that…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
