I'm 6' 205lbs and this jersey fits perfectly over my shoulder and elbow pads. Plenty of room to move without the slop of flapping in the wind, Modano style. Due to the material, it dries very quickly between ice time.

It's an oversized shirt that's a comfortable,indoor,lounging version of a hockey blouse.which is canvassy and durable,really only for looks.The padding you wear on the ice goes under the shirt,so while the padding is your protection,it's also your comfort.Meanwhile, the shirt you wear over all that is nothing but a shell.This shirt isn't a shel,it's a comfortable lounging shirt.Or,in styles of old,girls wore brightly colored hockey blouses instead of megashirts in the late seventies.

No beating around the bush…I’m fat. But I know my measurements and a XL according to the sizing guide should provide me more than enough room with shoulder pads with room to spare. It doesn’t. I’ll keep the Jersey for when I lose some weight because it seems nice and light. It just fits smaller than advertised.
