The perfect little ice ax!

Wow! I wish I had bought this sooner - this ice ax works great and looks great. I was concerned that it would look cheap and also considered buying a longer ice axe. It actually appears to be very well made and looks pretty good, and 7 inches is the perfect length.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Quality

Love this ice pick in the kitchen and dining room

EXCELLENT ice pick. If an ice ax can be beautiful, this is it. Big weight, great features, really good size. My son was visiting here and wanted to take the "hook" home for his home. I use a lot of ice packs and this is the perfect product to break down into useful chunks. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Weight

Excellent strong ice axe. Better quality than I expected - metal and definitely a very nice wooden handle. Easy to use. Almost went with the cheaper one just because it was cheaper. I read the reviews for this product and I am very happy with it. EXCELLENT LEDOR AT A GREAT PRICE!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons

Stylish and efficient

Very happy with this purchase. It looks great in the kitchen and works like a charm. Both the long, needle-like end and the thick, heavy, pointy end are useful for a variety of reasons. I'm sure a cheaper ice ax will do, but I'm certainly glad I have this cool tool. We also decided that this would be our protection tool if we ever needed it!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Upgrades

A durable tool Good for dining and entertaining

I use one of these new stand alone ice makers. They make cubes that are slightly damp on the outside when I put them in the freezer. Then they freeze together. This hook breaks them with ease. I was very surprised at how well it separated the frozen pieces of ice. But be careful. This tool is sharp and durable. That can do a lot of damage. (That is a good thing.)

Pros
  • Good for many
Cons
  • Expensive

Works best in the kitchen and dining room

So I didn't buy it because I needed to break ice to serve the bar or for other uses. more dubious legal activities. but with the power out for hours and the ice in the freezer melting just enough to turn a giant cube of ice into hell, even the sharpest steak knives couldn't get it out of the bucket. Therefore, buying this ice ax worked perfectly. Also, if I ever need a very sharp, very pointed tool for any other purpose that might come my way, it's nice to know that I'll be taken care of.

Pros
  • This is amazing

what do you know it works

Far far away when I was young we just bought an ice ax when we needed it. Or I didn't buy it, my parents bought it, I was too young to buy an ice axe. And they've always worked. Reading reviews of so many ice drawings, it seems so hard to find one that works and doesn't rust, fall apart, or summon demons overnight. Well the thing works, I've had it for a long time and I'm very happy with it. I can dip into the hard ice forming in my crappy fridge freezer and heck it works. Oh it might rust if I

Great for breaking ice

I bought this item because on my last one I didn't realize it was chrome plated and not rust until the chrome plating came off until I used it. I was glad to find it because I don't have ice cream that really required a pickaxe. A pickaxe is great when you have a block of ice, but this item does an excellent job of breaking frozen ice. I have a tabletop ice cream maker that makes scoops of ice cream and it tends to melt a bit after making it and then refreeze into chunks when I put it in the…
