I like these but with slightly tighter lids

I love these ice cube trays. We live on a boat all the time so ice cream is a great commodity. They are the perfect size and don't melt easily. We like the lids but wish they stayed a little tighter as we tend to spill water when moving them from the sink to the freezer.

Pros
  • regular price
Cons

Better than expected!

I love these ice cube trays. It seems to me that with a lid they freeze longer. Once frozen, I just pop them into a large ziploc bag and refill. I drink from a thin 20 ounce glass and the ice cubes are perfect. Love it, I'm thinking of buying two more so I never run out of ice cream.

Perfect for me on ice cube molds and trays

Large, square, cube, block, ice - I have these to make ice cubes. To ice candies or flowers for fancy cocktails and add a lid so you can stack trays on top of each other. So it was perfect. The large size of the dice made for a nice presentation and created the WOW effect - so I did what I wanted.

  • A few competitors

Don't buy - white particles will be thrown into the drink

I like that ice cubes pop out very easily compared to other types of trees with interlocking castle walls. However, this leaves white particles in your drinks no matter how many times you wash the ice trays. Put this in a glass of water and you will see a white residue remain on the surface of your water and stick to the sides of your glass. health care and it shouldn't be on the market.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Better than plugged in

They're easier to remove than plugged in, but generally not easy. The hardest part is filling them up and putting them in the fridge without spilling anything. Also, time will tell how well they hold up to constant use. I had an older type attached and although the silicone was less soft as far as I can remember, it lasted over 10 years without breaking with minimal maintenance. Maybe in the next year or so I'll update it and increase the star rating as things like this depend on how long they…

Pros
  • Niche best
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
