butt connectors change the color of the auxiliary light. It's a bit annoying. Not a true plug and play system as advertised. Solid wire would be a better choice for production than stranded wire which wears out when the unit is removed.

Don't think of it as a package, think of it as a set of individual features. The black 2 plugs don't fit into the white terminals like I thought. The wire is badly soldered to the white terminals. very disappointed with this purchase

Decent wire but a few quality control issues. The casing had been torn off in several places and the wires were exposed. For my use I needed a few relatively short lengths of wire, but if I needed longer lengths this wire would be problematic.

The wire is very thin. You need to be above average at soldering. The pins provided will not work to connect two clamps. The gold pins are not long enough to reach the pins inside. So even if you solder one end and plug in the bare copper pins, you won't be able to connect to the other strip's power supply because the pin headers won't reach into it.

Revain has to deal with such items. If you don't get what you pay for, why shop at Revain? This is a very thin wire and certainly not copper. Unfortunately I bought these in early January and didn't try to use them until the end of March, so I can't return this junk. You'll have to solder the ends for most applications because it's too thin and flimsy. I think it deserves a start because technically it's a wire.

Not sure what the liability rating is for. That's the wiring and it works. Washes well. Separating the colors will remove the clear plastic coating from some colors, but it will still expose the wiring without it. I had some on my trailer that were snapped and it was a spare cable to get to them when the wheels snapped off the cable making it short for some of the RGB lights I had. Please note that this is only 4 conductors and that's all I need, but if you need white, take something else.

A lot of the reviews here don't state what product they bought. To be clear, I ordered 100 feet of wire, 20 connectors, 10 pins, and some mounting clips. None of these products (except mounting clips) can be used together. This should be marked as an optional package. The connectors go from strip to strip so the wire is useless without the correct connectors. Male-male pins do not mate with strip-to-strip connectors.
