🦸 ICUP Superman Ice Cube Tray with DC Comics Theme Review

If you want it to make ice cream I'm sure it's ok. I wanted to use it for chocolate, silicone ice molds have worked in the past. not this one.

Like it ok. I've only used it once. It's really deep. I used it to decorate the topper on chocolate covered treats so I only had to fill it about a quarter full. Otherwise fill it out completely if the Superman logo itself is fun.

What could be more boring than a man buying superman ice cube trays? A man writing a review of said stands. I mean, these are ice cube trays. If they don't work, it's probably user error. Like pouring water in, putting it in the freezer, and then getting a heart out of the Fortress of Solitude with every sip of your drink

Embarrassing but it happened! The product doesn't claim to be oven safe and bills itself as just an ice cube tray so I don't blame it but to a newbie these bowls seem like any other that can be used to melt crayons, chocolate etc. The truth is they get melted very, very quickly, and then the flames started. Everything was fine, no damage BUT heed my warning ONLY USE ON COLD SUBSTANCES :)

Silicone mold is a bit difficult to handle. Hope it relaxes over time. Besides, it works fine. Ice cubes are good and gummy bears are good too. It's just difficult to handle and get the cubes or gummies out. If you are making chewing gums I would suggest using olive oil to coat the silicone before pouring the syrup into the cavity. Of course, without the olive oil, the ice cream can just pop out, but there are still difficulties.

Nice idea, maybe good for filling with melted chocolate or maybe fruit juice, but NOT IMPRESSED by the plain water ice cubes I got from them. Same opinion on the Marvel Heroes tablet. The details of the picture just aren't clear enough! The WINNER was Batman's Ice Tray due to its distinctive bat-shaped outline. (Suggestion: they're easy to demould if you let them sit at room temperature for 10 minutes first!)

I have many silicone molds that I use in my craft business and I've never had a problem cleaning them in the dishwasher as silicone can withstand both heat and cold. Unfortunately, this tray warped in the dishwasher! It's still useful, but not the same. My family of Superman drug addicts is very sad. So if you're just using this for ice cream, that's great! You can simply rinse it out between uses and you're done. But if you use it for other purposes, remember: dishwasher = kryptonite!
