A window doesn't just work in one direction. It's either completely useless, or the pet can come and go at will. The plastic door is malleable, so your pet can come and go as they please as long as you don't completely block the window. You should have thought a little better.

I have to adjust them to the door because of the heat and the air conditioning. A small problem, but they will get it. At first I was hesitant to buy because of the price. It's worth it.
