Other reviews are true. It's definitely difficult to install. But once I figured it out (about an hour after opening), it only lasted about 30 minutes. Although I cheated a bit. I bought two different canopies and while I liked the look of this one better, the other had plastic hooks (see photo) which I ended up using at the head of the bed. Beautiful soft tulle like material. Small holes in each corner for bedposts. The top center is not open, 3 sides have side slots for hanging. The first time I wore this I placed the closed side forward and rather than taking the time to open the whole thing up we unscrewed the jambs and flipped the entire top over. We bought this white canopy to cover my daughter's double bed. I was a little nervous about how it would work when attached to the ceiling, but it turned out great! We used 4 ceiling hooks for the four main corners and some shell hooks to hold the center piece. I suppose you could just use all the cup hooks, but I wanted extra reinforcement from the ceiling hooks.
