Igloo needs glue in sports water bottles

Got 2 in the mail today - used after we washed them. The bottom stick is made of foam immediately. Igloos are a good brand but they are cheap. I made them think they are the same as my children, others are BOYS, I was wrong. Waste of $40.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Vulgarity

My daughter loves it but

My daughter loves it but I don't think the lid will last long and I really don't think it can hold a half gallon of water. I bought a branded UA for my son and it seems much bigger and the side is much wider. Good thing my daughter doesn't drink that much water or I would have sent her back.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some little things

New style does not work

This new style of lid works correctly. My son has been using igloo water jugs for sport for years. Never had a problem before. The cap cannot be screwed on properly. After a few months we decided to throw it away and get the old cap all white and hope it will perform as well as the old ones.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Some defects

Doesn't keep drinks very cold

I expect the cooler to keep drinks cold but even if I fill it with ice it melts fairly quickly. For me the lid could be a little tighter. Can be brittle at times and I have to press really hard to make sure it's closed tight. I love the hooks and the grip on them. I have not yet used the dishwasher, only by hand for fear that it will deteriorate. Good price.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Expensive

I like it but it's leaking a little

I like these jars especially the ability to hang them on the fence. They keep my drinks cold well. The top can be difficult to open if you have small hands like mine. They all flow. Just make sure it's sealed tight, but be careful as it will still leak most of the time. I haven't found a brand that works as well for me and doesn't expire, so I'm just living with it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Was damaged

The basic cooler is doing its job

This cooler isn't fancy, but it works great and is good value. It doesn't have as thick insulation as other coolers, but it's strong enough to take the load. I just needed something inexpensive that could keep the water cold for hours while playing tennis and this is great for what I need. I fill about 1/2 the way with ice and stick with tap water and after about 3-4 hours the ice is gone when it's very hot outside.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Falls apart on first use

The blue part of the thermos falls off on first use. Not in the dishwasher, but washed by hand. Surprised that this has happened with an Igloo product. We have been using this brand religiously for many years. This one was bought to replace another which eventually fell apart after more than 25 years of heavy use. We decided to keep it because one day we had a day with a temperature index above 100 degrees. I may update my review if used in not very high temperatures.

Pros
  • Durable surface

not as good as the original Igloo

Exactly the same size and shape as the store bought Igloo but I would never have bought this one if I saw it first. Plastic is lighter (less durable). Little things like - the lid doesn't close completely (the original snapped in) so you have to press it multiple times in multiple places to make sure it's really closed. - The edges of the plastic are SHARP and will need to be filed down to avoid cutting yourself when drinking or unscrewing the cap. Just a really VERY LOW QUALITY version of this

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Leak Few Best in Sports & Outdoors Accessories

I have this to refill my Yeti mug throughout my workday. I fill it up from the Brita mug in the fridge at around 7 a.m. in the morning. So the water is ice cold. I also flood my Yeti at this time. I'm usually ready to fill up around 11:30am when the water has warmed up a bit. It's not room temperature yet, but it's not icy like I expected. This pitcher also leaks when knocked over. On the way to work I have to slip it between my lunch box and purse to keep it upright. Not sure if the waterโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are flaws
