Good Comfort Good Warmth

Comfort good, warmth good, color as described Quality - glove seems good quality Velcro straps - poor quality. 3 sts each side, 12 sts in total. Appeared to be hand sewn and lasted 2 days before ready to fall off. I had to hire a sewing machine and sew them myself. Nothing you should do for a pair of $18 gloves. Also, the seam at the end of each finger is 1/2 the length. free cord. Wasn't tied properly to give a clean finishing touch. I need to fix it so they don't get tangled. Something else…

The seams are better than other mittens.

Two reviews: First, flip mittens are generally quite useful. I can keep my fingers warm and dry when driving in winter, but I can also text when needed. Or get cash from my wallet, or write, or touch the navigation system screen. (Hunters claim that this design is for shooting, I can't speak about that). Almost excellent mittens, but do not withstand use.

Edit: Upgraded from 2 to 4 stars. I contacted Hot Shot customer service through their website. They responded immediately and sent a replacement. I hope a mitten was just an anomaly. For such and affordable gloves, the customer service amazed me. I will try to let you know how the replacement will last. If it looks good, I'll look at other hot outdoor gear. Good customer service can be hard to come by, and in this case, despite thumb failure in a mitten, I won out. Again, I hope it was just an…

Not big enough for a man's hand

This is a one size fits all IGLOO. I have a few female versions that I really like. One size for men is NOT big enough. Most men have bigger arms than these, so they cling to their husbands too much. Tight gloves block blood flow and make hands cold. Apart from that they have a really nice and comfortable design where you can fold back the glove to drive once the car is warm or use your smartphone. Too bad they made them so small. Very warm doesn't come off easily

Can't give a bad review, they do exactly what they describe and do it well. I wanted a glove that could be quickly put on and taken off on the street, while hunting or hiking, wherever you need your digital dexterity. I decided to try them out and see if the mittens' folding feature could be a compromise between warmth and dexterity. Wonderful and warm!

I loved them as soon as I put them on to take some photos this morning in -20 degrees here in Iowa. I was freezing while taking photos because my gloves were too big to use any of the camera controls, so I looked for something new. They looked like something I could use, so I bought them. VERY glad I am too. Now when I need to change my camera settings, I just lift the mitten, make my changes, and then take it off.
