This was a great find and a great purchase! I bought one from another Revain retailer with batteries a few months ago and it broke/disintegrated. This is a miracle, comes in a gift box. This seller is the custodian.

First of all, this meat thermometer was packaged so nicely that I had to look again at the price I paid. This would make a great gift as it has both beautiful presentation and functionality. And no batteries to buy! Love it.

This thermometer has a wide temperature range, so check temperatures from -58 F to 572 F. You never have to worry about the right batteries or corrosion when You haven't used it for a while. I've used it for freeze accurate frying and candy cooking oil temperatures and heat dissipation from glass mugs.

I really like this thermometer. Shake it a few times and it will pop up instantly. Seems accurate. I boiled some water, tested it and within about 5 seconds it read 212. My only complaint about the thermometer is that the meat display on the back is very difficult to read. I still highly recommend this item and will definitely buy it again! 5 Stars!

Kinetic Energy works great in this app. Just 3.4 shakes and you have enough energy to power your digital thermometer. It seems accurate enough and very easy to use. It has a hold function to keep the temperature on the display and a Celsius/Fahrenheit switch. It also has a loop for easy hanging next to your workspace. At a fair price.

I bought this thermometer for my boyfriend so he can make sure the meat is at the right temperature. It's very easy to use, you just have to shake it a few times to turn it on and it stays on long enough to get a good temperature reading. I tested it in boiling water (2nd photo) and it showed 212°F so it's definitely accurate. I didn't know green was Christmas themed when I bought it lol but it's cute and the Christmas pattern isn't very flashy.

I don't usually write reviews but... I was so impressed I had to tell someone. I wanted to buy it from a popular TV show for $25. Decided to try Revane. It's exactly the same as darling. (Update 12-3-21): After a little over a month of use (and babysitting) the accuracy has dropped significantly, instead of 32.5°F in the ice water test it NOW reaches 33.4°F after repeated testing and only reaches this temperature after 7-8 seconds. Tested multiple times with boiling water and NOW it peaks at 210.8°F (at sea level) and then it gets weird it starts to drop below 210.8°F if left in boiling water for no more than 2 seconds , e.g. 210°F, 209°F, 208°F, 207°F, 206°F and then stops at…
