2008 Altima on Ignition Parts

Bought because I had a P0303 code on my cheap engine scanner. Installation was very easy, took about 10 minutes. Fixed my rough engine.

Pros
  • Everything is OK!
Cons
  • No automatic

Great Product: Ignition Parts

What a great product. Replaced my existing coil with this aftermarket coil and it worked like a charm. No error codes, no dropouts and it was so easy to install. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Worked best in coils

Installed this on my daughter's Versa 2011 to fix a misfire error. Installed as OEM and the error is fixed. And that's about 1/3 the price of buying it at an auto parts store.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not reliable

The boot on the ignition coil has failed and shorted out internally.

Boat ignition coil defective and shorted out within 2 months. I had to buy another. If the trunk is the problem, just put on a thicker trunk lid to keep the spool from closing again. The attached picture shows where the boot failed and the coil shorted out.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • So far so good

That works great. A high-voltage spark burned a hole in the .

Works great. A high voltage spark has eaten a hole in the trunk and is shorting out the block. Finding something that works on a 2012 Nissan Versa 1.8L isn't as easy as you might think. What I didn't like was that you have to remove the intake manifold to change spark plugs or coils. But it's not as bad as it seems.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Disappear

Perfect fit, great price

Very easy, smooth installation. They come with a coil pack and covers pre-fitted. Loosen the original, pull out a screw and remove the original. Insert new one, screw on and connect. No stress. They appear to be of the same quality as the original parts. Since they were a lot cheaper than the auto parts store, I bought 4 and replaced them all at once. There were no problems after replacing the originals (due to code P0303). The code is gone, the car drives fine.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
