Product as advertised and almost perfect. The straps are easy to install and adjust, but the wooden rings had a slight roughness that needed sanding. Easily corrected with sandpaper, otherwise it would be five out of five.

Good sets of rings and straps for the price. The straps feel solid and are very easy to adjust. As for the rings, the wood finish was fine. Some parts of the wood were a little rough, I had to sand them down to smooth them out. I sanded it once and it was great. Would have given 5 stars if I didn't have to grind the rings.

So far I am happy with the quality and functionality of these rings. I did a lot of exercises with them and they worked exactly as advertised. I've attached them to the ceiling of my garage and the straps seem strong. The rings themselves have a smooth finish but still offer a good grip. My only concern is that the ring straps can be difficult to level. It would be helpful if the straps were marked to get the straps the same length. I can easily add my own for the positions I use the most.

Pros: Thick rings, strong straps, good spring buckle Cons: Splinters! The quality of the wood and the level of polish are not up to par. Ironically the box says "no splinters" (see image). It reminds me how politicians sometimes distract from uncomfortable truths by simply proclaiming the opposite with passionate conviction. I love my rings. I'm new to gymnastic rings but not training. I don't know why it took me so long to incorporate rings into my workout. I can train muscles on a whole new level. I'm just progressing on ring pushups so I'm doing static holds as well as pull ups, rows and ring rolls! The quality of the straps goes beyond a 5 star rating (amazing). The top layer of plywood looks dry right out of the box, and anytime it catches on something (mainly the straps, which is another problem) it splits and pulls the chips out of the rings. Fix it by sending me another set (kudos to them) but when I took them out of the box the same was evident with this set of rings. To prevent the same from happening, I treated this pair with mineral oil. This happens to a lesser extent than the first pair, but damage still occurs…
