Easy to attach birds

straps correspond to the description. They are easy to attach to a pigeon's legs with a little help from the person holding the bird. I want the number ink to be black, mine is darker grey.

Pros
  • Use to separate different breeds, mark suspect males and separate broods.
Cons
  • some cons

Good closure but faded lettering

A few ribbons are missing. They click well but the numbering is a little worn so I don't expect them to last long. I tried coating the numbers to prevent them from completely disappearing, so we'll see what happens.

Pros
  • Inner diameter: 8 mm. Outer Diameter: 12mm Height: 7mm.
Cons
  • faint

Not for adult chicks

Definitely not suitable for adult chicks unless you have very small chicks. I have adult Barred Rock chicks and these have not worked for me. I have given it 2 runs because I will be using them on my chickens but I need to remove them before the chickens get too big.

Pros
  • Non-toxic, avoids being eaten by birds.
Cons
  • Minor problems
