Works great in BMW - I was able to change our phone clip to magnetic mount - it works much better. The clips didn't fit my phone with a case - it kept falling out. FYI - I have a large screen iPhone. That's why I installed a separately purchased magnetic holder in the area of the ball joint on this clip. Much more efficient and much better looking than the "claws" coming out of the dash.

My s21 ultra case is quite thick and fits in zips due to the thickness of the middle plastic case. So I used a pair of pliers and folded back the prongs on the 3 metal fasteners so they rotate. Now when I put my thick case on the bottom clasp, the top ones tighten around the case and hold it in place. Hope this helps others with fat phones. Ps I had a magnetic phone holder f30 but my problem was the phone kept falling so this solution is better for me.

This smartphone mount is a perfect match for the F30 dashboard. It includes perfectly sized holes for the door lock button and hot/cold water dial. It doesn't block any air vents and the mounting height is almost perfect. There were no instructions included, but the installation is quite easy to follow. The biggest downside is that the swivel doesn't feel very strong. I have to tilt my Nokia 6 pretty flat otherwise it hangs down.

I have a 2017 BMW 440i and it's a great mount. On my iPhone 10s, the top of the phone is just below the media screen. You install the mount by snapping the alarm and heater switches into place. I recently bought a BMW 328 GT X-Drive and whilst I love this car it really lacks storage space in one area. The 2 front cup holders are small and partially located under the dash (there won't fit a large thermos) and there just isn't much room for anything other than the glove box. I bought two of these smartphone holders, one for my daughter's white 2014 BMW 328i Xdrive and the other for my son's black 2014 BMW 328i Xdrive. I was a bit hesitant with the installation as it takes some force to get it exactly in place. At one point it didn't feel like it would fit, but it fits and looks good.
