📻 Convenient and Compact iLive Wireless Under Cabinet Bluetooth FM Radio with Mounting Hardware (IKB318S) Review

This is exactly what I wanted and at a great price - no frills or extras, just what I needed: a basic radio and bluetooth speaker under the kitchen cabinet. The presence of an additional timer is convenient. I already have lighting under the closet, but it would be nice if you didn't have it. My closet takes up about an inch of space underneath and thankfully fits almost flush without the use of the included spacers. The screws are the right length so they can be used without spacers.

The sound isn't the best, there isn't enough bass. The watch's display is a bit odd, if you get too close you won't be able to see what it's showing (see photo), if you're around 5ft 6in or smaller this shouldn't be a problem. I'm 5'10", so standing directly at my counter at the angle I'm looking at it is a problem. Small tip - don't use a drill and don't get too "tight" when installing. Looks good. Sounds ok, don't expect much from the size. But the kicker is how awful it is to use. There are twenty presets, and the only way to switch between channels is to use the preset button. I received this unit to replace an old radio under a cupboard because the one I had before didn't receive radio stations well. I chose this model because it has an external antenna cable and not an antenna hidden in the power cord. I really think it changed everything.
