Not what I expected. I was looking for cotton shorts. The description says 98% cotton 2% spandex. It consists of over 98% elastane. I did not want. I consider this to be misleading advertising.

I'm not built like a boy - I have big hips. I bought them to wear under skirts and dresses but they chafe on my thighs and ride up making them very uncomfortable. Order a size or two larger. I'm disappointed. It might be worth going back.

I wanted shorts to wear around the house and they are perfect. I wouldn't wear them to yoga classes or outside because you can see the lines on the underwear. I usually wear a size 6 or 30" jeans, I weigh 150 pounds, am 5'1" tall and bought a medium size.

The first set I bought from M was amazing! Then I bought the same size again and it was terrible. They walked in what looked like a small child who could barely stand on one leg. I can't stress enough how ridiculously small they were. I checked the size and of course the tag said M but it was a completely different size! To be honest I liked the first set I bought and would happily buy again but who knows what I'll get if I buy.

They fit well, the material is soft and pleasant to the touch. I wear them in spring and summer under dresses and skirts with wide ruffles and also for training. thick to be disruptive when the temperature is warmer. Be very careful when washing and do not throw them in the dryer. They lose some of their suppleness. (I accidentally tossed a pair in the dryer without paying attention.)

I like these shorts, only the waistband could be a bit wider so it doesn't press into your stomach and twist more than you already have . My advice: if you carry your weight on your stomach, order a size up just to make sure you have room. I'm a size 12.182 and usually wear a large size XL if needed. I ordered a large but the waist just pushed into my stomach so I ordered an XL. This size fits much better. These shorts are very light and very comfortable. I will definitely buy more.

Years ago I bought a pair of thick cotton yoga shorts with just enough Lycra to keep me fit. I've worn them a million times and if my dog hadn't yanked them off their leash and ripped them they would still be in great shape. I never thought I could replace them but these shorts are just as good. Thick enough to cover the hood and stretchy enough to move inside. I like the wider belt. It helps hold my stomach and covers the tops of my cupcakes. I plan on ordering spare pairs so I don't have to…

I bought these for gardening in the sun so there would be less tan lines and they would keep out the bugs and let ladies breathe. Cons: The fabric rolls easily around the legs and waist. On my foot, the front is about 1.5 inches and the back is just under 0.5 inches. No phone pocket. Pros: The fabric is strong enough to stretch well but thin enough to be breathable. The wide belt holds up well and looks great with a t-shirt. I can sew on a pocket for my phone so I can use it for running too…
