These blades are very quiet and smooth. I installed them on a Grizzly G9742 - 5" x 6" 1/2 HP swivel head metal band saw. I'm also renewing the cooling system. I used this blade on a high frequency saw, the original blade didn't last long. I bought this device based on the positive reviews and now I want to add the positives. I made hundreds of cuts before changing blades. Actually the blade I took out was still a shank, I just realized it was taking a little longer and I figured it's more than paid for itself, it's time for them Retired.Part of the reason why I get a lot of cuts is that I use cutting fluid for all my cuts.

Error loading media. These blades perform much better than expected for the price. Actually I expected 10-15 cuts from them, I was completely wrong. They cut all day and haven't lost a single tooth or dulled at all. I worked on this for 12-15 hours, cutting 1/8" to 1/4" thick steel pipe. I am very impressed with this purchase. I gave the blade a 2 because it broke right at the weld after cutting through just a few pieces of mild steel. But I have to give it to the seller. After contacting them about this they sent me a new one pretty quickly and apologized for that, so 5 stars for the quick response and delivery. I think it might just be a grinding issue because the blade was thinner in the area where it was welded. The new one I just got has very little sharpening and I've cut more with it with no problems. I have been making metal constructions to order for about 15 years. When I started in 2005, I bought band saws from Harbor Freight.
