Only time will tell

Installed and printed some test pages. Not common with plain text. Very intricate patterns with fine details. He printed them perfectly. So far, so good.

With all the variety of compatible devices, it's always difficult to choose one to try. I have to say I'm impressed with how well this toner works. I've tried super cheap ones and never had much luck. It's not the cheapest, but it works well! I haven't lost the quality of my prints, no blemishes, streaks or weird lines and it's still so much cheaper than OEM, I will definitely order again. The installation video was amazing. Sometimes these things can be difficult.

Works exactly like an OEM cartridge.

The quality seems good and the printed pages look the same as the OEM version. The only problem is that the instructions say there is a shipping label to recycle the old cartridge, but it doesn't come with the kit.

Finally the toner started clicking. However it is very dirty.

The toner roller is open and dirty. I'm not sure how this will print in the long run. Back to ordering the original Brother TN-420 toner. There's a reason it costs more.

You must reuse the outer frame of your old cartridge.

1. Cartridge installation instructions are unclear. You need to recycle outside of your cartridge. To remove the bezel from the old cartridge, locate the green tab on the front of the old cartridge and slide it to the right, then remove the bezel.2. I would like to recycle the cartridge but there was no address label in the box.

I took a risk and this product damaged my printer, long lines printed on each page

I bought this product because I was trying to reduce my environmental impact at a more affordable price. Unfortunately, this toner cartridge prints long black stripes on each page. What is particularly bad is that when inserting an original Brother cartridge, the lines remained. Now I need to clean the inside of the printer, although I'm not sure if that helps. I regret taking the risk. Trying to save $10 will probably cost me the price of a new printer.
