Any tape will do. no need to spend $$

This product is great for getting a straight line but honestly any type of tape will do. I thought this had vertical padding so the letters could be positioned correctly. but it's just a smooth band.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Easy to use and gets the job done

It gets the job done! You can mark it with a marker for reference and reuse the tape for multiple items. However, you must use scissors to cut it. I tried to break it but it wouldn't come loose and stretched it. I was thinking of just using painters tape or something even cheaper, but haven't tried it yet.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

This is a tape.

Duct tape is good but not required. You can just as easily go to the dollar store and buy 2 rolls of duct tape (which is basically what it is) for $1. I guess the only advantage of this tape is that it's white so you might be able to write on it (to keep the distance) - or you could just use tape and then stick a piece of tape on top if needed to show your stamping. I won't buy this again.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
