Description of Inch Blacksmith Anvil Hardy Tool

Turning Bending Scrolling Fork -- Fits in a 1 inch Hardy hole in an anvil or can be used in a vise. Perfect for making larger "S" hooks, bending medium stock, and most any scroll work. This tool allows you to get leverage for bending metal by hand, with a hammer or bending wrench. Creasing Tool Stake -- Fits in a 1 inch Hardy hole in an anvil, or can be used in a Vice. Perfect for making repeatable work consistent such as knife making, leaf, armour. Hot Cut Tool -- Used in the anvil or clamped in a vise to cut hot metal. Use a hammer to push the metal through the cutting tool. Cut most of the way through, then break the piece off to prevent flying hot metal. Bottom Fuller – Used in the anvil or clamped in a vise to form metal. Use a hammer to work from the top, while the hardy tool works from the bottom. This gives you different anvil surfaces and edges to work with. Square shanks fit the square hole in the anvil and prevent rotation. Superior Quality-- Hardy is made from A36 Steel, the Fork and the Fuller is made from (1018) cold rolled pennsylvania steel. Providing a higher degree of strength and durability.

Not Worth Your Buck

My experience with this sculpture tool was rather discouraging .Through trial and error I found that the tool was poorly designed and not suitable for Arts and Crafts projects. The only positive feature was its affordability, but unfortunately, that didn`t make up for the lack of usability. Save yourself some frustration and look for a better product elsewhere..

Pros
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Poor Design

Useless Addition to My Sculpting Kit

This tool is a complete waste of money for anyone in the Arts and Crafts field. While it may seem like a handy addition to a sculpting kit the reality is that it's poorly made and barely functional .The one pro of this tool is its size, which is suitable for those who prefer compact and portable pieces. However, the cons outweigh this advantage, as the tool is extremely fragile and can't handle any serious work. Save your money and invest in a more dependable sculpting tool..

Pros
  • Sturdy blacksmith anvil for heavy duty work
Cons
  • Requires a significant amount of space and may be too heavy to move around easily

Does not work well

First of all, the paint is torn at best. Stains, blisters and missing stains on many parts. But that doesn't matter as it will burn up the moment it touches hot metal. The hot cut rod was good for ONE piece of metal. ONE. The next time I used it the edge collapsed and didn't cut the plank at all.

Pros
  • Hot Cutting Tool - used in an anvil or vise to cut hot metal. Use a hammer to push the metal through the cutting tool. Cut off the mass, and then break off a piece so that the hot metal doesn't fly out. I'll write
