Thermal underwear at a great price

These underwear are light to medium weight. They fit well and are comfortable. Also, they come in different sizes (I wear a 2XLT top and XLT bottoms and they fit perfectly). They're a little lighter than Carhartt Force insulation and the quality doesn't quite meet Carhartt standards, but they're still 100% cotton and MUCH cheaper than Carhartt, so I'd give them a 2 for quality and + for value.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Better to overorder than underorder

It's downstairs where we sell and for the dollar they were pretty good. I always order long pants because of shrinkage. It was good. Also, they pretty much fit my problem of wearing them around my waist. Every underwear company out there, Long John Wise needs more research and development on the elastic band they use around the waist to better hold long underwear and fall off. to the ass, all in all pretty good underwear

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Modern

Warm traditional waffle weave base layers

Indera men's base layers for tall heavy men for medium men fit my 6 foot frame well with a 34 inch inseam and a 32 inch waist. According to the instructions on the packaging, I washed and dried them first. So far they have been worn under jeans or khakis in 14 F (-10 C) winters and have kept me warm. I have long legs but a short waist so I fold the elastic down so it doesn't go high on my stomach. They stretch after a day of wear, but recover the next time you wash and dry them.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Pleated wrap

Very thin material, not as described due to heavy weight

Bought for my father who is about 6" 2" and 210 lbs. described as very heavy material. The medium pants fit better so I decided to keep them but they had a small hole when delivered and were very thin. For someone looking for really heavy underpants I would suggest going to a tractor supply store.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Fading

Comfortable but already snapping

The thread is already untied in the crotch area. I bought the XL so that doesn't mean I bought a little too small and it's already torn. I've only been wearing them for a few days and haven't done any crazy exercises or anything like that. It's okay, but I just thought I'd share this with y'all. Other than that, Indera's waffle material is pretty comfortable. It doesn't make me itchy or anything and I feel nice and warm. Edit: Update: After washing, the fabric is not as comfortable asโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Disappearing

Husband loves it.: Clothes

So my husband had thermal underwear that should have been thrown away for quite a while, but my husband refuses to throw anything away or give as gifts. Well, I've decided to buy him some new ones so he can throw those crappy ones away. Well I won. He loves these so much that he threw away the old ones without hesitation. He said that not only are they warm, but they fit perfectly. He said he can't find thermals that suit him because he's big and they always swamp him. They are long, fit himโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Machine wash
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Pretty good except . . . .

I liked them so much I ordered a second pair, although the elastic waistband was too tight. I wear size 36 pants, and this large size should be 38-42 in waist, but it's too tight for me. The second pair is not tight. I bought these for the length as I'm 6ft 4in and a very long "waist" or crotch is fine with me as long as it reaches my legs. Unfortunately they formed 4 holes in my left leg almost moth hole after having them after just a month or so. There are too many issues to return them so Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Designed for very cold weather and light to moderate activity

Bad belt for good products.

I have bought many of these and am very disappointed. They put some crap. The belt is thin and does not stretch. To compensate, they make the damn thing really tight. I ordered a very large one. I actually have a 38-39 inch waist so I have to cut it off now or it will be tight around my waist. I use voicemail, sorry. I really want to buy from an American company. And the material is good, it shrinks very little, it's 100% cotton. But the waist elastic sucks, it's made in Mexico. I wonder, maybe

Pros
  • 6.5 oz heavy waffle jersey
Cons
  • Some imperfections
