💾 32GB mSATA Internal Mini SATA SSD - INDMEM Micro-SATA MLC NAND Flash 32GB Review

Replaced a 128GB drive on an Acer S7 laptop. This is a perennial laptop with an Intel i5 processor. Installation and setup were relatively easy. I set up and formatted a new drive instead of cloning the old one. Two partitions created, C for Windows and D for data. I didn't notice any difference in speed compared to the original drive. One month of use, everything fine.

I bought an INDMEM 512GB mSATA to upgrade (clone) a 128GB mSATA with CASPER 11. I installed it in the second internal mSATA slot. CASPER 11 launched, which crashed very quickly due to unspecified bugs. This mSATA unit was either NEW but defective, or used but excessively worn. Came back for a refund and bought a 512GB mSATA LEVEN unit. Installed in the second mSATA connector and cloned without error.

I'm not sure if this would work but I'm happy to report that it works in my Dell E5540 51mm x 30mm mSATA Slot that had nothing before worked great. I now have 2 drives, dual boot, I use that as my main operating system and the former hard drive mostly as backup storage. Well that's pretty weird. Some time ago I bought two RECADATA mSATA 64 GB drives here. These drives share the exact same circuit board and chipset as the INDMEM drive I'm talking about here. Older RECADATA drives offer 64 GB of storage space with a single 29F64 flash chip (64 GB), while the INDMEM drive uses two 29F32 chips (32 GB each = 64 GB).
