    Elegant Timer - Kitchen & Dining

    Looks exactly like the picture apart from a few tiny scratches. The screws that need to be tightened to hold the timer in place aren't tight, but we added a couple of washers and the problem is solved. 1 star deducted because it needed repairs to keep it strong.

    I love it. in the kitchen and dining room

    Exactly as shown and works great. This watch is made in an adorable steampunk style and complemented with accessories. We use it in my writing group to calculate people's queue so everyone has a chance to read. Please note this is a type of brushed brass finish, not shiny brass. I love it.

    Practically what you see

    Approximately what you see. I only paid 36€. Regular price is $137! ROFL.ok, someone smokes crack! Of course it is durable, the glass is beautiful and thick, durable. But $137. I do not think so. Some reviewers said 30 minutes was skipped due to time constraints. I didn't check, I don't care. This is for decoration.

    the sand clogs and does not run smoothly. basically just for the look, not for the function.

    It's nice and stable and that's what I was hoping for with a problem. There are lumps in the sand that clog it when you turn it over. I was really hoping the sand would go ok but this causes it to stop about half way. It was a gift and I feel terrible that it isn't working properly.

    Transition timer in my classroom

    As a teacher, I use this hourglass to help my students earn free time. They liked seeing visually how long it takes to move from one activity to the next. It was such an effective tool. The quality of the product is worth the price. I don't think it was made for daily and hourly use as I often have to tighten the screws on the side to keep the watch in place. However, it works for me!

    It's beautiful but not worth the price

    I bought it as an anniversary gift and although it looks like the photo the assembly of the product is not very good. The glass of the house doesn't appear to be fully screwed in, the mount at the base isn't well centered, and the screws used to turn the hourglass don't even have the same finish as the rest of the piece, so they stand out. . Worst of all I saw this at Marshall for HALF the price a week later! My girlfriend liked it but I didn't like it.

    Useful and not bad for timers

    This hourglass is very beautiful and functional. I calculated how long the sand runs for 31.5 minutes. It's well made and I didn't notice it tilted or unbalanced. The base is a good weight and the glass is quite thick so I hope it doesn't break. Side knobs make it easy to adjust the hourglass's rotational density. I haven't had any problems with sand clogging, but I don't think it's suitable for ultra-humid areas (like a bathroom or sauna) where moisture can get in. It seems a bit expensive but

    Like this hourglass. Very pretty. Looks very expensive, we display it in our dining room and put it on the table every night at dinner as a timer for my 5 year old (who loves to fool around during dinner). I didn't exactly time it, but I know it's about 30 minutes. The sand falls gently. Sometimes you have to pull up the little ribs on the side, but it's easy and can be done with your fingers. I've searched everywhere for the right hourglass that's in the right price range and also pretty…
