We still don't quite understand our kitchen riff. But we both love these lamps very much. They were easy to install and we think they look great. We have them on a dimmer and they make really good task lighting.

I have tried installing and removing the lamp many times with significant problems. Not sure if the base was misaligned or if it's a bad design. Even when I inserted the bulb very carefully and slowly twisted it cut the threads enough that it took me 15 minutes to remove the bulb.

I've been looking for new headlights for over a year since I moved in. I couldn't find anything I liked and everything was very expensive for what it was. When randomly searching for something else, these popped up. bought and love them. They are easy to install, look great, work with standard LED bulbs and are well made.

Update: After only 2 weeks they now flicker every built in lightbulb. The quality wasn't impressive at all. They were easy to install and looked very nice, but the bulb socket is terrible. It won't stay in place when you screw in the bulb causing the entire wire to twist. Luckily you'll probably only do it once, but it shows it's cheaply made nonetheless. But not a bad light for the price.

Screws in junction box could not be properly aligned. The thread on the lamp post is not long enough to attach to the center hole of the bracket and can only be attached to the thin decorative cover. The metal is very thin and soft, bends easily. Had to be modified with an alternative mounting plate. Then when installing the light bulb, the cartridge came loose and only rotates in the housing, there is no place to tighten it. cheap cheap cheap! I would not recommend it.

Lamp holders are secured to the base with cheap plastic nuts. I screwed the bulb in, and later when I tried to unscrew the bulb, I found that the cartridge was spinning with the bulb. The cheap plastic nuts weren't strong enough to hold the socket in place and it was almost impossible to get the bulb out. When I finally did, the socket was completely loose and was moving at the base, making it impossible to screw in other bulbs; and probably dangerous. I threw them away because I didn't trust…
