Clear sound but no bass. (Rap/Hip-Hop)

I had 2 old Kappa 6x9s in the front doors of my Toyota Camry and 2 Kicker 6x9s in the back. I replaced the rear speakers with these because I was very impressed with the door speakers. The difference in bass was immediately noticeable. In order to get the same bass as before, I had to adjust the stereo settings, which resulted in some distortion. It would be great if I had a separate subwoofer instead of a 4 speaker setup. Looks like I'll be back with the Kickers at my back.

Great for Harley speaker covers

I added these to my speaker covers and also added 62IX to my fairing in 09 Electra Glide. I connected them to Kenwood KAC-M3004. I decided to hook up an amplifier and the speakers play loud and clear. They sounded good when the amp was not bridged, but really shined when given more power. These speakers need power, so if you have a decent amp they can and will get loud. These are 2.5 ohm speakers and are rated at 96dB so they play quite loud compared to 4 ohm speakers as the lower impedance…

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Some bugs

Fabulous at an intermediate level, but not for the uninformed

I listen to metal and hard rock. But don't think I don't need quality sound. at 130 RMS give it a try, don't complain if it's too high on a factory deck or amp. These are real speakers, so with insufficient power they will not work well at all. 126dB at 3 feet. Now when listening to autotune rap or pop I wouldn't use it unless you have actual detailed adjustments on the head unit and don't know how to tune the upper frequency.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Periodicity

Surprisingly in RMS, not to the uninformed

I listen to metal and hard rock. Kappas are power hungry when rated at 130 RMS give it a try don't complain about anything whether on a factory deck or on an amp it's severely overdriven. These are real speakers, so with insufficient power they will not work well at all. Clear and accurate and 126dB @ 3ft. Now when listening to autotune rap or pop I wouldn't use it unless you have actual detailed adjustments on the head unit and don't know how to tune the upper frequency.

Pros
  • Car Audio
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

1 speaker broke 6 months after the warranty expired!

I bought 2 pairs in December 2018. (Front and back). I have been using Infinity Kappa for several years and have not been disappointed yet. I enjoy the sound and all, but over 1 1/2 years is unacceptable! I hope this was an isolated case! I think I'll give it another try simply because I want the front and rear speakers to be a matched pair. If that doesn't work I'll go with the appropriate JBLs. Anyway, they are both made by Harmon Kardon. πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ (It took me a while to write this review…

One speaker is not working

I am very disappointed with the return program. I paid for a fully functional product with defective delivery. The total cost of the speakers is about $135. Now I have to pay to return YOUR nearly $50 broken product. I will buy them again and packed $185 into a product that only costs $135. I have already ordered another pair from another website. It seems to me that you have a problem with the speaker manufacturer and are shifting some of the financial burden onto the customer. I'm also pretty
