These are not the best connectors I have ever bought but they will get the job done. The plastic around the connector is made of PVC and is quite hard. Use a HIGH crimp pressure and you'll be fine.

Works as expected. Used in car to connect secondary electronics and component speakers. Much better than duct tape. Will not rot, unwind or become brittle. Easy to use. You do NOT need a crimping tool. I used my vise. Easily made very tight connections.

Great buy if you use them in bulk. This is significantly cheaper than what you pay for packages at auto parts stores or hardware stores. The quality is no different from what you can buy in the store. As with any crimp tool, the quality of the crimping tool used can make a huge difference in the quality and durability of the crimp tool, but I have had no trouble using them with my Kline crimp tool.

These plugs work well when crimped. Their insulation is not easily broken, allowing you to achieve a strong crimp while still protecting the wire. However, they are ONLY suitable for 14 gauge wire. Many times I had to re-insert 14 gauge wire because the hole was big enough to fit under. A slightly larger hole would have made this a lot easier!

Works and the quality is good. Remember I'm not an electrician, I only learned that from playing with them. The problem I've had with this product is sometimes the 16/14 gauge single wire won't catch on the crimp allowing the wire to slip out. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but the shape of the loop at the end of the wire helps me. Also, if you crimp too hard, your wires will break very easily, although duct tape helps. I would only recommend soldering the wires instead. Not very difficult…
