At first I thought, what kind of junk did I buy? It seemed cheap and not worth it. But I installed it anyway because at this point I needed to do something to get rid of the whining radio. And down here it worked. Ease of installation. And I'm glad I bought this product. I would buy another if needed on another machine. Highly recommended

This solved the problem. No more high-frequency hissing through my speakers. What they sent was a round cylinder, not a square one, but it works great and everything sounds crystal clear now. I connected it to power, not the ignition wire, and grounded it separately behind the radio power supply.

Massive, impressive looking unit. I've tried using it to reduce alternator hum and ignition noise in a race car's radio system, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. Running the radios on batteries reduced the noise significantly so I expected a good effect but was disappointed. Maybe my experience isn't typical and it will work for you, but you can try some other alternatives instead.

Seems to have removed about 80% of the noise from the alternator. With the radio off I can still hear it, but when Dario is on with music or an audio book this seems to have eliminated or at least minimized the howling and I don't notice it. I also followed another reviewer's advice for two. One goes to the battery line and one to the ignition line. I installed both at the same time so I'm not sure if one or both will work, but I think I'm satisfied.

The item sent to me was cylindrical and large. There were no instructions in the package so I installed it on the ignition side of the 12v harness that goes to the radio. This did not eliminate the rumble produced by the speakers when driving the car. It would be great if instructions came with the product. I may need two to install the 12v memory power wire and the second to power the ignition. Not sure, do not buy this product.

Disclaimer: I do NOT have a high quality stereo in this car. I had a squeak that increased and decreased with RPM. I use a cheap Chinese 12 volt glove box amp with input from either a flash drive full of MP3s or an 8 track player. Sounds just as good as cheap speakers. The screeching made it awful, especially through 8-track. This completely eliminated it. Will it take away some of the fine tuning? You have to find out! It worked perfectly for me.

I used one of these in the fuse box for my car entertainment system, specifically for headrest tv with sound and some other connection components. This combined with the RCA audio noise isolation removed all of the noise from my setup once I had good - real - chassis ground installed.
