I soldered the ends and used banana clips. The sound is crystal clear. zero static. Exactly what you want. 1 roll and I was able to set up all 5 speakers in my surround sound system.

Need a nice bright red and black wire for the custom wires I was planning to make. This 1ft 12ga spool was perfect for solo work. Turned those 12 gauge wires into disposable wires with ferrules, markers and a banana plug.

IS MUCH BETTER THAN GOLD AND SILVER WIRE. CABLE INSULATION IS MUCH EASIER TO REMOVE WITH AN ELECTRIC STRIPPER. In contrast, the "GOLD/SILVER" WIRE IS COVERED WITH VERY FLUID, SOFT PLASTIC. . IT IS HARD TO REMOVE THE PLASTIC COVER WITH A KNIFE. THE KNIFE USUALLY CUT TOO EASILY AND DEEPLY, DAMAGING THE WIRE HOUSINGS.

Purchased solely to build a portable power supply for ham radio use. For that it works great. Yes it is copper clad aluminum but it is used in low power applications. I would not deliver more than 100 watts of power with it, it is not designed for the permanent installation of a 1000 watt amplifier. Great quality at a great price

After upgrading my projector (BenQ HT3550) and receiver (Onkyo TX-NR686), I wanted to rewire the speakers and move them along the walls and ceiling instead of resting them to let on the floor. I bought these for the main reason for their cost: I was concerned about the sound quality at first, so I went online to research the sound quality of the CCA cables before buying them.

I was very skeptical buying 100ft 12g speaker cable for the price I paid! Let me assure you this is a very good quality wire and for the price you can't beat it! It's not OFC, but it's not a power or ground wire either! Do yourself a favor and save some money on your car radio installation and buy speaker cables without OFC! I recommend this product for a great and professional looking speaker cable!
